Our Story
We started with one goal —
better food for dogs.
The Dog Outlet was born in Wigan in 2020 from a simple belief: dogs deserve better than processed, grain-filled kibble. As raw feeders ourselves, we knew first-hand the difference a natural diet makes — healthier coats, better digestion, more energy and dogs that actually love their food.
What started as a passion quickly became a purpose. We opened our doors in Wigan to give local dog owners access to the highest quality frozen raw dog food at genuinely affordable prices. No middlemen, no unnecessary markups — just great food, direct to your dog's bowl.
Today we supply hundreds of dog owners across Wigan, Greater Manchester and the whole of the UK, with a growing range of raw food, treats, bedding and supplies for dogs, cats, birds and more.

Dogs evolved over thousands of years eating raw meat, bone and organ. Their digestive systems, teeth and gut bacteria are all optimised for a raw diet. It was only in the 1930s that commercial kibble was invented — for human convenience, not canine health.
